LOGS73 SCV

HARDWARE PLATFORM FOR REMOTE CONTROL AND MONITORING OF INDUSTRIAL PROCESS DISCHARGES (SCV)

LOGS73SCV is a portable remote control and monitoring platform for measuring water quality indicator parameters, featuring data and alarm transmission via GPRS and 3G.

  • High versatility and responsiveness for effluent quality surveillance in sewer networks, the detection of contaminant discharges, and source identification.

  • A reliable, real-time tool for automatic monitoring and inspection of industries.

  • COMPLIANCE WITH REGULATION RD 665/2023.

  • Support for and complement to the regulatory controls established by local ordinances.

This solution allows municipal and fluvial water authorities to control this type of discharge, providing traceability back to its point of origin. It is composed of the following main components:

  • Portable autonomous measurement unit:

    • iLOGS data logger with internal battery.
    • Power supply battery pack.
    • Associated sensors: pH, temperature, conductivity, VOCs, expandable to other parameters.
    • Main unit: compact, geolocatable waterproof case with carrying handle.
  • Integrated sampling pump, automatically activated when predefined threshold limits are exceeded.

  • DATALOGGER configuration software.

  • Data monitoring software.

The measurement unit collects sensor data every 10 minutes; the data are stored and transmitted to the server hourly via the DATALOGGER.

The system continuously screens the water body. When a discharge exceeds a predefined threshold, the pump is automatically activated to collect a 1-liter sample and an alarm SMS is sent to the assigned mobile phones.

Key features

  • Installation at control points such as manholes, sewer collectors, overflow structures, wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs), and industrial facility connections.

  • Easy installation and removal using dedicated mounting and fastening fixtures.

  • High robustness against harsh physical and environmental conditions: initial physical protection provided by an impact-resistant case; protected connectors that are not exposed to the elements; flexible cables; and protection against corrosion and flooding with an IP68-rated enclosure.

  • Easy maintenance: easy access to the discharge control equipment (DCE) allows maintenance tasks to be carried out simply, without the need to enter the sewer, thus avoiding work in confined spaces.

  • Continuous sampling of water and air quality indicators: pH, temperature, electrical conductivity, turbidity, dissolved oxygen (DO), VOCs, etc.

  • Continuous measurement of the water level using a hydrostatic level probe or RADAR sensor to calculate discharged flow rates at the PVDSS (sanitation system overflow discharge point).

The optimal servitization of contaminant discharge control, whether to river basins or to the municipal sanitation network, requires the deployment of an operational approach:

  • Planning of strategic control points.

  • Monitoring and control of water quality parameters.

  • Management of measurement points.

  • Traceability of polluting industrial discharges.

  • Initial screening of samples. Sample extraction and delivery to the laboratory.

  • Probe calibration and periodic maintenance programs.
