LOGS73 IR

HARDWARE PLATFORM FOR REMOTE CONTROL OF IRRIGATION AND CROPS

The LOGS73IR platform is a standalone solution for the remote control of irrigation systems.

Measurement of pressure and flow/volume, and activation of solenoid latch valves.

Automatic weekly irrigation programs by sector.

Calculation of instantaneous and accumulated daily flow rates, with totalized volumes.

Alarm notification for overpressure, underpressure, or flow rate exceedance.

Key features

  • I/O module for interfacing with flow meters featuring pulse or analog outputs, with analog connections to pressure sensors and solenoid latch–controlled valves.

  • I/O module for measuring soil moisture and soil temperature.

  • Robustness: designed to operate in harsh environments.
  • Adaptability to different objectives based on the irrigator’s needs.
  • Minimal maintenance.

SCS remote control solutions have been designed to serve as the ideal partner for managers throughout all stages of the water cycle.

Irrigators

The use of technology in irrigation digitalization processes contributes to the modernization of the sector by providing solutions that optimize water use in irrigated farms, increase transparency in administrative management, and minimize the impacts of agricultural activity on water resources and soils.

Along this path toward “Agriculture 4.0”, SCS has developed dedicated data loggers for different irrigation control processes, combined with the appropriate sensors, offering tailored solutions in:

  • Reading of different types of irrigation meters.
  • Early detection of water leaks.

  • Early detection of water leaks.

  • Monitoring of soil parameters: moisture, salinity, pH, nitrogen sensors, etc.
  • Monitoring of reservoir levels and flows, as well as canal flow rates.
  • Control of leachate infiltration into aquifers through the measurement of parameters such as temperature, salinity, pH, flow rate, and nitrate levels.

Hydro-agrological stations

In order to optimize resources allocated to irrigation, our multiport data loggers are designed to support decision-making through irrigation monitoring combined with local climatic data.

They operate as hydro-agrological stations, enabling the prediction of water demand for each crop type.

The system collects data at a configurable frequency and transmits it to the server, where it can be visualized and compared against optimal levels in each case, in order to make informed decisions regarding upcoming irrigation events.
