LOGS73 SEC

HARDWARE PLATFORM FOR REMOTE CONTROL, MONITORING, AND TRACKING OF WATER SUPPLY AND DISTRIBUTION NETWORKS

The LOGS73SEC platform is a standalone solution for the remote control and monitoring of drinking water supply networks, from regulation reservoirs to residential, commercial, and industrial consumption points.

Measurement of pressure, flow, and volume in both high- and low-pressure networks.

Consumption calculation, leak detection, and water hammer detection.

Calculation of instantaneous and accumulated daily flow rates, minimum nighttime flows, average flows, and totalized volumes.

Key features

  • I/O modules for interfacing with flow meters featuring pulse transmitters and/or analog outputs, including bulk meters for high-pressure networks and micro meters for low-pressure networks.

  • Analog connection to pressure sensors.
  • Standard and temporary sampling frequencies, including transient detection mode for pressure sensors.

  • Alarm notification for overpressure, underpressure, or flow rate exceedance.

SCS remote control systems have been developed to become the ideal partner for managers across each stage of the water cycle.

Production

ABSTRACTION

SCS remote control solutions enable the management of water pumping and conveyance from its source (surface or groundwater) to treatment plants.

  • Control and monitoring of the pumping process.

  • Control of the flow and volume of withdrawn water.

  • Control of physicochemical water quality parameters.

  • Alarm management in the event of incidents.

DRINKING WATER TREATMENT

Remote control of remote stations in complementary processes such as:

  • Chlorine level control.

  • Pump activation.

  • Transmission of water pump incident alerts.

STORAGE

Remote monitoring of water storage tanks across multiple parameters:

  • Filling levels.

  • Control of chlorine dosing pumps.

  • Leak detection.

  • Outlet meter readings.

  • Intrusion control.

Distribution

ABSTRACTION

Acquisition of data from the distribution infrastructure in order to analyze and diagnose potential incidents in the shortest possible time, enabling a rapid response:

  • Flow rate measurement and analysis of maximum, daily, and nighttime flow patterns.

  • Pressure level control.

  • Leak detection.

  • Detection of Non-Revenue Water (NRW).

  • Interconnection meter readings.

Water quality

Control of the chemical, physical, biological, and radiological characteristics of water, using reference values defined for each requirement, through sensors associated with key indicators: pH, temperature, conductivity, turbidity, dissolved oxygen, chlorine, and total dissolved solids (TDS).

Stringent regulations
One of the aspects we take into account when selecting the variables to be measured is the applicable regulations for each sector. These regulations define both the variables to be monitored and their reference values, as well as maximum and minimum threshold limits.
